What are the acceptable forms of ID that I can use?
You must have an up-to-date State ID, valid Driver’s License, or a US Passport. Failure to provide any one of these will stop the notarization of your agreement.
Does the notary agent print out the document for the signer?
No! All documents, along with the concerned parties, should be there when the notary agent shows up at the location. The agent will only check the IDs, read the agreement, and witness the signatures. After that, he will provide a signature and stamp on the agreement as part of the notarization process.
What is a loan signing agent?
A loan signing agent is the notary agent who notarizes loan or mortgage documents.
Should your signature and photograph match with those provided on the ID?
Yes! Your signature has to match that on your ID. Moreover, the notary agent will also confirm that the same person is signing the agreement as it appears on the ID. The signing process begins after the identification process.
